This is just a note to thank you personally and Paula Duncan Promotions Pty Ltd for assisting the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation in planning and managing its fundraising events throughout the past eight years. The Hospital has benefited immensely with the funds raised from these unique events that have ranged from large celebrations in Town Hall to private cocktails functions; all professionally managed by your company. Your passion for what you do (and your staff) has been evident in the success of these superb events. Creativity and professionalism go hand-in-hand when Paula Duncan and her team manage an event, whether it be corporate or philanthropic. Paula has a deep understanding of event management “rhythms”.
Penelope Hess, Chief Executive, Royal Hospital for Women FoundationI have been involved in a number of Causes and Events which have been managed by Paula Duncan Promotions. Without exception, the attention to detail, regard for sponsors and key stakeholder groups, and the clear focus on outcomes has been a consistent hallmark of everything they do. Paula is a complete professional. Not only is she the finest of MC's, she is one of the most effective people I have had the pleasure to do business with. I would recommend Paula Duncan Promotions to anybody who needed to conduct a first class campaign-event.
Mark Warren Principal, Mark Warren ConsultingFrom luncheons, to boat cruises to the races, we have experienced many fund raising events with Paula and her team.' I was introduced to the The Secret Women's Luncheons at the Quay restaurant 4 years ago as a fund raiser for RWH, these events are always a highlight for me as the guest speakers are always entertaining and Paula and her team always does a fantastic job greeting everyone and making them feel welcome. We have also attended other events organised by Paula Duncan Promotions and one of the most amazing nights was in September 2011, the event was for the "Special Olympics' on board a glass boat on Sydney harbour. The atmosphere on the boat this particular night was electric and there was not a dry eye on the boat once the kids had finished their dance routine and were given a standing ovation. The food is consistently excellent and the wine always flows, we always look forward to these events throughout the year.

Fran Eustace Fundraising, Special Olympics Australia14 years ago, I joined Wesley Mission Sydney to manage their corporate partners This role included holding events, managing and gaining corporate sponsors, and participating in other fundraising activities. Within 2 years, the Corporate Partnerships team had become Strategic Alliances, and together with several dedicated team members, our portfolio had grown to include Appeals, Direct Marketing, Events, Deferred Giving and Trusts & Foundations with 20 members. Together with Paula and Dani and some other key colleagues, we instigated and managed the Home for Hope Project which took place in Sydney, The Central Coast, The Hunter, and in Queensland on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. This unique project won the National Fundraising Award in 1999 for Innovation. Partnerships formed during this project included: Howard Smith, Harvey Norman, Boral, CSR, the HIA, Homeworld, Lend Lease, Australand, the CSIRO, Stegbar, Blue Haven Pools, and many media outlets. Paula, Dani and I also did several wonderful events with Paula being the instigator and major organiser, well assisted by Dani. The This is Your Life events, Days of Wine and Roses and the Christmas Corporate Breakfast became incredibly successful raising funds and bringing together companies and celebrities. Their infectious enthusiasm, commitment, hard work and downright talent make them a joy to work with and be with. All our corporate partners just loved being involved in our work. We made them have lots and lots of FUN. While we no longer work together we do keep in touch and I thoroughly recommend them to anyone who wants a terrific and successful event.
